When Mirror Polishing and Plating began operating over 50 years ago, it was with one over-riding commitment - that every roll leaving our facility would meet only the highest standards.  For customers, that meant trouble-free performance once the roll was back in production.


That commitment to excellence built MPP's reputation as a leader in hard chromium plating and surface finishing of industrial rolls.  It continues to make MPP the name to depend on when quality and consistency count.



Our 85,000 sq. ft. plant - the largest roll plating facility in the US - can handle rollsup to 144" in dia. x 240" face and 84"

dia. x 456" length.

MPP is a complete, single-source roll fabricating, plating, grinding and surface finishing company known world-wide for excellence and reliability.


We provide rebuilding, grinding, plating and finishing of large and small chromium plated rolls and other equipment for all types of process industries: paper, food, plastic, chemical, film, etc.  Our wide range of surface finishes for industrial applications include:


     ·  Ground or polished roll finishes with surface roughness as low as 0.5 Ra

     ·  Uniform matte finishes with specific surface roughness, gloss or tone requirements

     ·  Grained surfaces, non-frictional surfaces, liquid pick-up or other specified surface characteristics
