5 Insights From ICE USA 2015

Posted September 17, 2015

MP&P continues to provide the highest level of excellence by attending national and international events. We stay on top of market trends, connect with our peers in related businesses, and spend quality time with our customers.

Earlier this year, we sponsored the International Converting Exposition (ICE) in Orlando, Florida. ICE USA EXPO is an educational forum dedicated to the global converting, package, and printing industries. Known as, “America’s leading event for the conversion of paper, film, foil, and other flexible materials.” ICE USA is held every two years.

Here are five things you may not know about ICE USA:

Global Reach

More than 300 converting companies participated in the exposition, representing 34 states and 15 countries. Like, MP&P, these exhibitors represented the world’s best in machinery, technology, and processes. We were visited by more than 2,000 professionals from at least 30 different countries.

Continuous Learning

MP&P has been around for more than 60 years, but we are always looking for ways to stay on top of latest technologies, and educate others as well. ICE USA gave us the opportunity to participate in several conference sessions and smaller meetings over the course of three days.

Multiple Industries

We see numerous industries that benefit from the represented conversion technologies. MP&P refinished rolls can be found in virtually all industries that use chromium plated rolls, including manufacturers and processors of cardboard, packaging, printing materials, and many more.

Future Growth:

The growth of ICE USA is a reflection of overall market needs. A recent Brooks Report on the U.S. Converting Market forecasts a 4% year over year growth through the end of the decade. This type of prediction is consistent with other associated reports and publications. With more than fifty years of experience and insight, MP&P has noted similar trends across a number of related industries as well.

Connecting with Customers:

The highest level of service and listening to the customer is always a priority. ICE USA gave us an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with current and prospective contacts in a variety of roles and businesses.

We look forward to the next ICE USA in 2017 as well as the other trade shows and conferences we will be attending. Please look for us and stop by our booth. We look forward to connecting with you!
